Lectured at Stanford University (Palo Alto, Ca), U.C.L.A. Berkeley, the Commonwealth Club, the American Jewish Committee (San Francisco), Hadassah, ORT, Brandeis Alumni (Arizona), the Holocaust Museum of San Francisco, various Jewish Community Centers, synagogues (including New Mexico, Redwood City, Belmont), U.S. Consulate General (Shanghai), Lyceum University (Manila), Northridge University, California, University of Denver, Judaic Studies Center (Shanghai), Skt. Augustin (Germany), and many other cultural centers in Asia and Europe.

Exil Shanghai Film by famous German film-maker, Ulrike Ottinger, which premiered at the International Berlin Film Festival (Feb.18, 1997). Invited to Berlin by Festival organizers. Selected 'Best Movie Documentary' by the media. Krasno's interview featured in the entire first hour of the four-hour film.

Film later screened at the San Francisco's International Jewish Film Festival (April/May 1997), where it received the Golden Gate Award. Also screened at the Jerusalem International Film Festival (July 1997) and later in numerous cities around the world.

Sanctuary Shanghai: Chen Yifei, world-known Chinese artist and documentary film-maker invited Krasno to participate in two films: one for television and one for movie theaters. (Spring 1998). The TV film titled Sanctuary Shanghai, was broadcast on the most popular Chinese TV channel on August 21, 1998. The movie film was screened in China and premiered in San Francisco on November 17, 1999.

Canadian Film, Legendary Sin Cities: Berlin, Paris, Shanghai (Paradigm Films, Toronto, Canada). First screening: Feb. 15, 2005 by Canadian Broadcasting Corp (Toronto}. Later broadcast in Australia and other parts of the world.

KMVT : "Cronaca" (Mountain View, Los Altos and Cupertino) 25 minute interview with Rena Krasno, broadcast during four consecutive Tuesday nights in April 2005.
